Tom Bachner

Tom Bachner joined Kate Capital in 2024. Prior to Kate Capital, Tom was president of Mudrick Capital Management and previously worked at Bridgewater Associates for 19 years, most recently as Global Head of Institutional Partnerships. Before moving to the institutional asset management business, Tom spent 10 years working in intelligence for the U.S. government. He earned an MBA from the University of Texas-Austin and a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
